The North Fork Local School District rests in Northern Licking County and the Southern portion of Knox County. The North Fork Local Schools are made up of Utica High School, Utica Middle School, Newton Elementary and Utica Elementary. Security cameras are vital to ensure the safety of over 1656 students and approximately 200 staff members.
Problem: Outdated, low quality security cameras were becoming an issue for Utica High School and Middle School. Out-of-date security cameras can compromise student and staff safety, encourage student misconduct, and reduce staff accountability.
Solution: A Security Cameras of Columbus salesperson met with Utica administration on site at the high school to discuss potential solutions. It was decided that a mix of Uniview 5MP Turret Cameras and 4K (8MP) Turret Cameras were the best fit for the job. Uniview 4K IP Cameras record the highest resolution in the surveillance industry! The salesperson worked with school administration to decide the appropriate number of cameras and location for each camera. We installed two cameras and an NVR at the school as a “demo” to show them the difference first hand. They were impressed to say the least, and the installation was scheduled for winter break.
UBIQUITI WIRELESS RADIOS Wireless radio transmitters were used to transmit the video feed from cameras at the Utica High School fitness facility back to the main building. Administration at the main building can now view the fitness facility remotely. " Professional through the entire process " - Principal Mark Bowman - Utica High School |
