The Zane Trace Local Schools campus is a massive property that encompasses an elementary, middle, and high-school all into one. Enrolled in this huge building are 1402 students of all ages. High quality security camera footage is vital for any large operation that integrates young children, teenagers, and adult staff.
Problem: The Zane Trace school contained a security camera system that was over a decade old. Many of the cameras had stopped working or had lost quality over time. Moreover, the school administration were limited by their budget as to what they could do. They knew that a whole new system wasn’t in the budget. In today’s world, a defective and low-quality security camera system can be detrimental to student and staff safety, foster student misbehavior, and reduce staff accountability.
Solution: A Security Cameras of Columbus salesperson met with the Zane Trace Technology Coordinator on site to discuss potential solutions. After analyzing the existing system, we determined that our Dahua 1080p HD Turret Camera could integrate seamlessly with the existing analog infrastructure. This integration allowed us to install these new HD cameras in the place of the old cameras! Using this method, no new cable or DVR needed to be installed which made the project very affordable for the school!
“[We are a] medium size school that still has analog cameras. Many of the cameras are between 10 and 15 years old. Security Cameras of Columbus not only replaced many of the analog cameras with new analog cameras, but they also took extra time to troubleshoot cameras they did not replace so that our district could have the best camera experience possible. I highly recommend this company.” Cory Juillerat - Technology Coordinator - Zane Trace Local Schools |
